A denture is simply a set of acrylic teeth placed on a material that looks like gums. This set of teeth can be removed from your mouth, they provide a convenient way to replace multiple teeth, and they can restore your smile and function.

Dentures are an alternative to not having teeth and can restore function and aesthetics.

Dentures do take some time to get used to, and we will explain all the risks and benefits with you before you decide whether they are right for you.

We will work closely with you, especially in cases where you might require full mouth extractions. Our goal is to provide you with continued care from the initial consult all the way to postoperative follow-ups.

Complete Dentures

Complete dentures provide a complete replacement of teeth, which can include both upper and lower teeth or individual upper or lower teeth sets.

Immediate Dentures

For our patients that are looking for removal and immediate replacement of teeth after dental surgery, we can fabricate a denture that is placed on the day of surgery to provide function and aesthetics.

These are placed immediately after surgery but are generally replaced or relined over time with more permanent dentures after the healing is complete from the dental extractions.

Partial Dentures

For our patients who are missing only a few teeth, a partial denture can be an excellent and economical solution to replace these teeth.

These can come in a few types, including:
1) Cast Metal Partial Denture
2) Acrylic Partial Denture

Cast Metal Partial Denture

Although more expensive, a cast metal partial denture is the strongest and lightest option. These include a metal framework which uses your adjacent teeth to support the denture.

Acrylic Partial Denture

A more economic option is an acrylic partial denture. This option is more flexible and bulkier but can provide an economic solution to a few missing teeth.
